Vikneswaran Sivanadian
Vikneswaran graduated with a LLB (HONS) from the University of
Wolverhampton in 1995. In 1996, he obtained his Certificate of Legal
Practice and was admitted to the Rolls as an Advocates and Solicitor
of Malaya in 1997. Vikneswaran also has a Certificate in Teaching
and had worked as a teacher for five years.
He started his professional career in December 1997 after having
chambered with Messrs Mad Diah Das & Co. From December 1997 to
September 1999, he was a legal assistant in Messrs. Sri Ling & Co.
He then left Sri Ling & Co and joined Messrs. Firdaus Azlina & Co as
the managing partner of the firm’s branch in Ipoh .
Vikneswaran has had the advantage of garnering experience in
litigation and conveyancing. In the field of conveyancing, he has
extensive experience in standard housing developers sale to
individual property sale and commercial and industrial sale and
purchase agreements.
He also has experience in banking documentation ranging from retail
to corporate banking. In the field of litigation, he was actively
involved in debt recovery ranging from simple debt recovery to more
complicated contentious litigation matters for various financial
institutions namely Bank Rakyat, Affin –ACFFinance, RHB Bank and
MBF Finance and various tortuous claims and family law matters.
Believing that compassion and justice are key principles in life, he
has served the community through the Rotary Club of Kinta and was
its President in 2008. He also actively participates in spiritual
development programmes and is the Assistant Secretary of the Maha
Ganapathy Alayam Ipoh.
